Selection of candidates for admission is done centrally by the office of the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt, of Goa.  Application Form and Prospectus are issued by them during the month of May.

Eligibility

Eligibility conditions prescribed for admissions:

1. Candidate should be citizen of India.

2. Passed SSCE or its equivalent with Science, Mathematics and English in one and same sitting.

3. Passed from the schools of Goa only. *

4. Secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate of Science and Mathematics at SSCE (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC).

5. Resident of State of Goa continuously for minimum 10 years immediately preceding the month of receipt of Application with Admission Rule relaxed for certain categories.

6. Candidates coming with higher qualification are eligible for exemption in few courses as per the rules of Board of Technical Examinations.

* Apart from the above , certain number of seats are reserved for special category   as per the norms laid  down in the prospectus.
