Shipbuilding Department

Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering is a unique course which has wide scope in shipyards, ship design firms and merchant navy. It is a course of 4 years duration with special emphasis on skill development by imparting 1 year training at shipbuilding and marine industry.

Mechanical Department

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is one of the core engineering branches, and is offered with a meticulously designed curriculum which is in line with the industry requirement, well equipped infrastructures and laboratories, industry interaction.

Electronics & Communication Department

Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a 3 year programme having career prospects in manufacturing sector, telecommunication sector, software and various government and defense sectors.

The workshop trains the students of all the streams by conducting practical’s and demonstrations in different trades. Trades Offered are Carpentry, Turning, Fitting, Welding, Moulding & Plumbing.

Efficient and experienced staff is imparting quality training to develop the skill needed for the student.

The workshop provides facilities for final year students to fabricate their projects. The workshop also trains students as Welders and Machinist at regular intervals under the Scheme of Community Development through Polytechnics (CDTP)
